Example 3: printing
an access map, what you see is not always what you get !
Sites: lalignedroite.com
Date: 23 september 2003
The case:
I was trying to find my way to an art gallery in Geneva. The
plan was rather clear on screen, but I wanted to have it printed
for more convenience. The result on paper is speechless... a
blank page !
Errors / Recommendations:
Error: abusive use of flash in this case... The site
looks good but the creators haven't think in terms of potential
clients needs (i.e. going into the gallery and buy stuff !!!).
Recommendations: at least add a "print this page"
button, not to mention an html version of the site (that would
also improve the visibility on search engine which is lacking).
A pity for a very famous expert and dealer of "art déco"
in Geneva..

Is this what we have to do ?
Important note:
these examples are taken at a certain point of time. It might
be that they have changed in between. We are (therefore) using
screenshots. Day of "recording" and webadresses are
mentioned.
